In a fast changing and complex industry, staff training and
development are critical activities. Aegis is able to provide
training in all technical areas related to spectrum engineering and
frequency management, and in the management techniques needed to
ensure that project objectives are achieved.
Delivered by Experts
Our thorough knowledge of the subject enables us to provide
training and development at all technical levels, as the following
examples illustrate:
- For DACOM Corporation, Korea, we developed and delivered a
specialist course on propagation modelling, followed by an
interactive course on international satellite co-ordination.
- For Rowe & Maw Barristers, London, we provided an
introductory course looking at the future use of
radiocommunications, including both satellite and terrestrial
systems.
- For Kingston University Business School, we have delivered
training in the use of international standards for management as
part of the post-graduate MBA course.
Our staff have also been involved in providing technical training
for specific groups such as the UK regulator,
and to wider public audiences including lectures on the specialised
engineering courses run by the University of Surrey and the
University of York.
Our Approach
We are always happy to discuss and respond to the exact needs of
our clients, and can develop bespoke courses to reflect specific
requirements. Training can be delivered to a group or, in a tutorial
style, to one or two individuals and can be hosted by Aegis, or
delivered on-site. Where applicable, we include a significant
component of hands-on activity, ensuring that attendees have a full
and practical understanding of the material delivered. Aegis staff
publish and present work on a regular basis.
